Historic Hamilton
Hamilton lies approximately eight miles south of Pine Mountain, located in the east-central portion of the County. It is also the County seat and has a historic courthouse. The town's center has a town-square that lies at the intersection of two county routes. Hamilton is primarily a residential community that also has governmental offices and a few retail and commercial businesses. The town exists much as it did historically, self-contained and concentrated around the town square.
